Ratings and reviews

I cannot download the ebooks I have purchased for some reason. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but it didn't work. It keeps saying "The book cannot be downloaded right now. Try again later." It's been like this all day. This is the first time I am having such an issue with google books. I can still download the samples of unpurchased ebooks though. This is very strange. Help. (april, 2025) issue seems fixed, not too sure how though, still a little slow, rating changed to 4 stars

Used to like this app. Unfortunately, after recent update you can no longer delete uploaded books and files. You can only "hide them". This is very inconvenient, especially since I haven't heard of them increasing the limit of allowed books per account. It is not helpful in case you accidentally uploaded duplicate files. Have not found an option to access the "hidden" books, either. Very annoyed with this matter. Bring the "delete" button back!

The app works, but can be confusing to navigate and has no way to organize books in your personal library. Also, I often find myself looking up book series' on other platforms to determine reading order because the app doesn't track that information. My biggest issue is missing books in a series. I'm frustrated to find out half way through a series that I need to use a different app to find the next book.
