Ratings and reviews

The changes for this app in the past year have only made it worse. Today I've used this app for 33 minutes, and it's eaten 20% of my battery on a Pixel 6. I've had active games use less battery. This is an app for sending and receiving text messages, it should not kill your battery for any reason. Photo sharing takes up the whole screen, you're better off saving the picture, sharing, and deleting it after. Edit: The link provided has no information on battery usage.

the app is great, you can add reminders and events from your message to your calendar, and so much more. the only issue I have. if I dont have my wifi or data on I wont receive any text messages. If you are someone who has a routine of powering all wifi and data in the evening until the next day. I don't recommend this messaging app. Google, is there a way to manually fix this issue?

I can't zoom a picture. One thing that is clearly missing is a way of scrolling up. I want to read some of our first texts. The snooze message box is oversized. I would like the snooze person to be more hidden. It's name remains on top. The person is harassing me but I still have to read the messages but need to be able to not see it. Hide it. This app doesn't provide dates. only the time. That's a major flaw.
