I do not know what has changed with this app in the last 2 weeks but it is so choppy, it is so slow, and the voice to text is horrendous. it is also happening to my children's Android phones. there's no update for the app. it has just deteriorated in the last 2 weeks. I'm going back to the Samsung messages UPDATE: Still issues. constantly fails texts change positions so I'm missing texts. All of a sudden can only pin 3 people randomly. so absurd

This app is very glitchy and my Google video calling never works! the video calling button keeps disappearing from my messages and when I try to call through Google meet, it doesnt work. I cannot receive or make video calls. All my apps are up to date. my software is up to date. I've restarted my phone. Everything. Still no videocalling.

I've been using this app as my default for many years now, but suddenly the enter key no longer defaults to a new line- it now sends the message immediately with no option to change this. I have no interest in changing my keyboard to Google's (which this far seems to be the only work around) so I have had to uninstall all updates on this app, just to restore this very basic functionality. Not being able to properly format a message renders this app useless for anyone in a professional field.
