Ratings and reviews

In terms of storage, especially shared storage with family it is very useful. But the renewal process is annoying. I have opted for the 2TB plan as it is enough for me and every renewal, I first have to opt for monthly subscription first, cancel it, and then switch to annual mode. How hard can it be for Google to just keep a button that says Click Here for Renewal. It's so complicated and because of this I end up paying more than required. Every year this is happening. Annoying.

I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

Sometimes it takes forever to back up, other times it just hangs, even though it's the same wifi connection. I've had it take over 1 to 2 days to back up a few pictures. The pricing plans suck. They give you 15gb free and then there is nothing in between that you can pay for, you have no choice but to go to a 2tb plan.The plans were different years back. Why not have a 25gb/50gb/1tb plans? I pay every month for storage amounts that I wont use because I have 20 to 30gb.
