Ratings and reviews

Recently there has been a lot of bugs lately regarding the UI on the YouTube App. Sometimes the video would just go dark and render all the clickables unclickable; unable to maximise/minimize the video, unable to click onto other videos, unable to open or close the comment section, etc. The app would just refuses to function correctly when this UI bug appears, the only fix currently is a hard reset; closing the app and re-opening the app. The cause is random, ads could also trigger it.

I am a premium subscriber. One of the appealing features was the ability to play video audio even while the screen was off or locked. Now after a few minutes the audio will stop playing. Also, if I momentarily pause the video and go to another app, the YouTube app restarts instead of picking up where I left off. The app will randomly reboot when in use.

Since updating youtube app, it doesn't let me watch a video without minimising the video and taking me out of the app. It does this on average 3 times a minute. It's so frustrating. I've tried everything to fix it, but it won't stop. I'm paying youtube premium atm, so it's very annoying knowing I'm paying the ridiculous amount they charge only to not be able to use the app like I used to. Some videos keep pausing on their own every few seconds, too. Rubbish app and waste of money for premium.
