Ratings and reviews

I like the round up option of Chase, but what I really DON'T like, is, when I open the app and it shows me an amount of money on my account, which is NOT correct, as latest spending are never deducted. Not even on the next day. I have to tap on this amount to see transactions and only then the available amount on account decreases. It can increase when receiving money, but not decrease after spending... Totally annoying when I quickly want to check if I have enough money on account!

Best instant access account currently on the market. Best payment card for one year at least. Good app, being added to as they go along. When they have all the banking features in the app (switching etc.) it will be a five star account. Oct 2024. Most of its advantages are now lost. The card cashback requires large monthly deposits and when the bonus 1% on interest goes in January it will not be as good as a full banking account plus a savings account elsewhere - if nothing changes.

Planned to use my Chase account for foreign currency whilst travelling. Initially fine until after an app update, I could no longer access my accounts: the app crashed shortly after startup. I sent an email to the Chase Support UK address asking for help. Their response? Send us a message from the app! Really??? Fortunately there was another app update shortly after that fixed that problem. But of course I am now very wary about updating the app. And would now never do it whilst travelling.
