Service is great. I tend to have a signal when a my friends don't which is nice. My issue is with the app. It keeps crashing and using up resources and battery life if it's running in the background. Not a huge problem by itself, but if I need to use the VPN, I essentially have to keep my phone on a charger, or it will die within 7-8 hours. The average battery life for my phone without the app in the background is 24-36 hours with regular use. I've tried uninstalling and clearing the cache.

Really simple and smooth. If you have a family plan with kids it's super convenient to keep track of usage, who can call them, and other security features. You also get VPN included, 20GB of tethering, and if there is ever an issue with service, they give you credits. Pixel phones are great and always at the best discount for Fi members.

I've been with Google Fi almost since the beginning. It was a breath of fresh air compared to Verizon. However, it's gotten worse and worse. I just upgraded my phone, less than a month ago, but more than 15 days so I cannot return it. It's a minor glitch. The message notification doesn't work, but as minor as the glitch is, since people mostly text instead of calling, this is a major inconvenience. I've spent >3 hrs with them and they can replace my phone with maybe a new phone or a refurbished
