HomeSafe View: Live Swann DVR viewing on your Android phone
HomeSafe View supports the following features:
Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 cameras on screen at the same time (16ch view works best on tablets)
Play back stored recordings from your DVR on your handset or tablet (requires high upload speed internet)
Capture video from your camera live view to your Phone to play back later
Capture single and multi still images and save these to your Phone's picture library
Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely

Note: Current model handsets and tablets are recommended for high resolution playback and live viewing more than 8 cameras at once.

Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 3G/4G or WiFi. When using 3G/4G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. If you exceed any plan limits you may incur additional usage charges. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.

Huge improvement from before. The APP loads my live cameras. The picture quality is amazing plus the breeze of playback is so smooth. Very easy to take pictures or record a clip to save to the phone. Amazing work Swann Team! The only thing now is to work on your customer service. I never once got a callback nor email to address my previous concerns. I had to figure it out in my own which is why I give it now 4 out of 5 stars.

7/9/24 changed again to an even smaller screen. 3/21/24 Keeps getting worse. Features continue to be removed. When we upgraded our modem, it no longer displays to phone or has a way to reconnect. No support. New version of the app 9/2023 is bad. Video is too small to see or even use for security. It's useless. Image quality has greatly decreased. It's no longer capable of being used in anyway for security on the app. Hardwire changed too. Look elsewhere for a better security system.

It's improved a lot over time. Now it saves where you are when viewing playback. Uses less battery, but still a drain though not sure how much that can be fixed. Sharing video also improved a lot and it is overall more responsive. Some developer(s) deserves a raise because they really added a lot of useful features and made the app much better. Thanks! Edit 5/2024 It briefly shows my cameras but then they all go offline and don't return. This seems device specific as others can still see.
