About this app

This Depression Test is designed to help you evaluate the severity of your depression with just nine simple questions. This app uses the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), an empirically-based, self-test questionnaire. Clinical depression is a mood disorder in which feelings of sadness, loss, anger, or frustration interfere with everyday life for weeks or longer. Clinical depression generally responds positively to treatment, so it is important to seek treatment if you are concerned about your mental health.

New Feature: Keep your results private with a passcode lock!

DISCLAIMER: This self-test is not meant to be a diagnosis for your depression. Remember that this app should not be used as a replacement for professional treatment or guidance.

My only problem with this app is that you cannot see the previous test results when your phone is set to "Largest Display Size" and "Largest Font Size". I wish developers could fix that, so people with sight problems don't have to change their Android's configuration every time they wanna see the results history.

From all the tests I've done I've got severe, even if this test is accurate or not, I think it'd be better to be talked to by a professional. So I give it three stars, because it doesn't know my back ground or anything (Glad about that though-) about me beside from a few questions it asked, but it is a free short test, and what do I expect. Hope this was helpful.

Great for monitoring my depression treatment and watching for rising symptoms. Note, the questionnaire is the PHQ-9 and is not diagnostic. It simply checks for symptoms of depression and anxiety. The app reminds you to take a new test every 2 weeks, and tracks your scores over time.
