When I talk to my phone, there are so many stupid errors including random capitalizations that all I can say is that it's getting worse all the time and apparently no one can figure out why. I wish there was some better way besides pecking with my thumbs or swiping, because you would expect by now, 2025, you could dictate a simple sentence to your phone and it would appear correctly. Google. Hello.

Google speech to text is obnoxious. It capitalizes random letters in a sentence for no reason at all. This is an extremely common issue. leaving feedback to Google has not helped. Do you know how ANNOYING it is to see the words appear on the screen correctly, and then suddenly shift to a different word when it got it right the first time? Or when the little blue microphone turns off when you're not done? Or when you say question mark and it types the word, not the symbol?PLEASE FIX BASIC ISSUES😫

Haven't tried this newest version, but I use speech-to-text all the time, for years and it seems to consistently get worse every year. I really want to like this, but it does very weird things with punctuation, breaks sentences up randomly not following any grammatical rules. Words are very often coming out incorrectly and sentences are frequently butchered. I'm holding out hope that one day this will improve
