Overall, my experiences with the Lyft app have been good. I think they fixed the fact that drivers could see the name of your Favorites on their app. However there is another big issue. You cannot end a ride once it has started in the app, the driver is the only one who can. I had a situation where a driver dropped me off then continued to drive around and around the block without ending the ride. I presume to get more money, leaving me unable to use the app to get another ride back home.

Bait and switch. If the driver can find a longer way to get to the destination, the price changes from what was approved on the app. There have been times I've done the wait and ride( sometimes not to save i dont want to get there that early ). If there's an available driver, it's upgraded without rider approval. Then I arrived earlier than I wanted. You can't win with this service! I'm going to PUSH myself hard to ride BUS for the summer.

Lately the application has been sending drivers to the wrong address to pick up and drop off. Thank goodness I have the option to contact the drivers to let them know. One driver didn't want to take me to the location to be dropped off until I showed him what was on my app was very different than his and I KNOW WHERE I INTENDED TO GO!!! It was about to be a sad and unsafe moment because I would've been miles from my destination!
