App drains my battery even when Im not driving. It causes my phone to get super hot because it's running constantly in the background. It doesn't track all the trips, so it's impossible to get the required 50. Tried uninstalling/reinsalling and everything recommended by tech support, but nothing helps. It's frustratingly unusable to the point that it seems like they are making it so you can't get the drivewise discount.

Hi, we hear you! And we’re always improving the app to minimize battery drain. Here’s what you can do: Make sure you’ve installed the most recent app update and are using the latest version of your phone’s operating system.

Way too invasive just to use drivewise. Are you going on a bicycle ride? Better make sure that you mark it "not a trip" in the app. Out on a boat? Make sure that you edit that trip to once you're done. Instead, they should just set it up so the app recognizes the Bluetooth of the vehicles on your policy. then when you start your truck or car and your phone connects to the Bluetooth the app realizes that you're in a vehicle related to the policy and it's not tracking your every move.

Price is okay for car insurance but, be warned, roadside assistance is covered separately, it's a separate subscription with a separate membership number and billing. Something they don't warn you about. Getting to the roadside assistance from the app is a hassle. I discovered this the hard way when my battery died yesterday. Ended up having to shell out $95 for a jumpstart. Also, it doesn't save quotes in progress. If you switch apps or receive a phone call, you have to start from scratch.
