I've never seen a more simple app be this broken. So I had an account and randomly got logged out of it. Tried to log back in and it says everything is wrong. Tried to recover the account, it refuses to send me any code on both phone and email. Finally we have to call and to get the account reset and I got a generic error, turns out the username was already taken and it didn't tell me that. If I didn't have to use it I wouldn't!

App drains my battery even when Im not driving. It causes my phone to get super hot because it's running constantly in the background. It doesn't track all the trips, so it's impossible to get the required 50. Tried uninstalling/reinsalling and everything recommended by tech support, but nothing helps. It's frustratingly unusable to the point that it seems like they are making it so you can't get the drivewise discount.

Allstate's Drivewise puts a heavy strain on my battery, using 15-20% of my Pixel 7a battery per day (the app must be always monitoring for a trip), putting a lot of strain on and lowering the effective capacity and life of the internal battery. The app would otherwise be ok if not for the underlying coding inefficiency. I would prefer not to have to replace my phone earlier due to the strain being put on the battery, but the Allstate app needs "always on" permissions for Drivewise to work
