I've been using this app for years and its been great until just very recently haven't been getting any notifications once I receive a new message. I've checked my phone's notifications settings multiple times and that's not the issue. I've also checked the app settings for the chat and that's also fine. I tried restarted my cell and had my husband try messaging me again once my cell was back on and still nothing. I'd really like help here since I use this app for work sometimes.

Review would be way better if notifications would always appear, as I've had a few occurrences of them not showing, leaving me unaware of what my friends and peers are messaging. I've also lost access to the ability to send voice messages. I was able to before, and I'm unsure of if it was the last time I updated Chat that it got removed or if it just happened at random. So, yeah, other than that, my experiences with it are very good, otherwise. Thank you.

5/31/2 I think the developers are trying to crash or make this app obsolete because it has been buggy all year now. first the drop down reply function doesn work. Second it doesn't load all message or it's delayed. And now it takes forever to send a picture, it just staying loading at a snails pace. I think I'm done I've had this app since it was hangouts but I'm going back to text messaging. this app is nothing but issues now
