Ratings and reviews

App has automatic pop-ups to say "I've arrived" etc while trying to read the map. When I'm typing drop off notes, gets interrupted by more pop-ups. When I arrived at the destination, the map automatically zooms too far out and becomes useless. If you scroll up to read customer's drop off details, app scrolls down and hides it. STOP HELPING!!!, or give me an option to turn all this automatically stuff off. All it does is clutter the screen while driving.

Cheaply thrown together app. Can't detect orientation, map is just a course tracker that needs you to drive in order to get location. Customer support has been getting better, though. They still need to have better cancellation fees for when you drive 30 minutes and you get $4 after the rider cancels. They tend to just listen to customers and ban people for little to no reason. Update: They finally have android auto after years of promising it.

The app itself is functional enough. In-app navigation only works if the app is open on screen, so it's pretty useless when you're driving and your phone screen isn't on; have to use google maps, but the uber app still tracks you so it can drain battery pretty fast using both. Support has been alright so far. The base fare from Uber is truly pathetic though. Even with tips, I'm making less per mile than the standard deduction covers so I'm technically using more money to drive than I earn.
