It could be a pretty good app. The problem is that the wireless connection is...odd to say the least. There are specific 'blackout' areas, as in physical locations, where android auto is guaranteed to disconnect. Disconnecting consistently (every time) occurs in 3 areas that I frequent and it is incredibly frustrating. I've waited a couple years now hoping for a fix but it seems this is something not on the list of fixes. Would love to hear any feedback on this if anyone has additional info.

I really used to love this app, worked fine before the latest update. It makes hands free driving really easy. However, lately it keeps saying "something went wrong" every time I try to call, text or use a voice command. This has made the app useless. I can still receive a message but can't reply to anything. It clearly needs a fix. Yes, I I've restarted, reinstalled, cleared every thing and nothing works!!

Overall, this is a decent app for driving. However, I have never been able to get Android Auto to alert me when I receive a text message from any messaging app. I have disabled and enabled the alert feature in the settings name times, but it still doesn't play and alert sounds. I'm order to know I have a message, I have to watch the alert counter in the top left corner of the screen. This is very inconvenient, and I have missed many important messages.
