dumb app... can't even view videos as soon as you upload it, also dumb that groups STILL don't have a easy "who viewed my message" icon... no we get 3 different menus to go through just to see how many views it has (1 always being your view). and then to top it all off... message notifications can be delayed by up to an hour. save yourself the headache and don't download it!

Browsing for photos to add to a chat is always a nightmare. I don't want to default view my Google photo albums when adding a photo. default take me to the picture albums on my device (phone). browsing for photos to add to a chat is a dumpster fire. 99% of the time, I get annoyed and have to exit the app, go to my phone gallery, and share via Google Chat from there. terribly designed. I hate it so much.

this app has recently been updated. I can't load any messages and it is constantly glitching. I use this to message my kids and family in other countries, sad because it isn't working at all. I also loathe trying to navigate to individual chats from groups. messages aren't displayed and it's like my contacts and photos....stuff just disappeared.
