I've had this about a year. The description reads: "Automatically back up the important things on your phone, like photos, contacts and messages... notice it says "like." Now I personally regard my calendar as an important thing. I accidentally deleted my calendar on another device. had a rude awakening that the backup DID NOT include calendar nor does it have the capacity to include the calendar. in fact you need a non Google app in order to be able to import and export a calendar back up.

Not efficient, waste of money. Disappointed. I've been a loyal google apps and systems user for a very long time. All their other products are efficient and very helpful. However, it seems like very little thought went into One. Wanted it to backup my photos but the interface is basic, not intuitive, lacks scheduling, doesn't allow for specific photo album selection, and takes forever! Amazon Prime allows unlimited photo backup so I'll be canceling my subscription and asking for a refund.

Limited choices. When I back up my phone. I want to back up the essentials, not all of the apps or programs on my phone. Google 1 doesn't let me do that - it's all or nothing, so it's usefulness is limited. Most apps, I can download again & I get my info back by logging in to my account, so I don't need to back them up. But Google 1 makes me back everything up (or nothing) so it's wasteful. Google also has much less storage capacity than Yahoo or Microsoft, so it's always "full."
