It's a good unit, but it's almost comical how frustrated I became over the Bluetooth/WiFi (lack of) performance. The Bluetooth just isn't worth the bother, and there is no WiFi capability. (Network sniffer confirms no SSID broadcast, and - yes - the unit shows the WiFi is on.) If they just said there's a small, on-board console to check and set the temperature, I wouldn't have missed the app at all. But, they! made it a selling point, so failure to meet customer expectations is on them.

The app is barely functional. Even though the app now connects to the fridge via Wi-Fi, the app sends no notifications for power interruptions etc!!! Bluetooth connection works as well as Bluetooth will and only when standing right beside the unit, and the app has to be manually ended and reopened to refresh and reload temp info each time the app is re-opened. Horrible for such a high dollar machine. They've managed to make their app worse over time.

This was difficult to get talking via Bluetooth, but somehow I got it working. The app doesn't show a lot of information, it doesn't even tell you when the compressor is running in the cooler. It would be nice if it showed wattshours used - that's more useful than amphours when the battery voltage keeps changing. And there is a major bug - every time I start the app it shows that I have set the cooler to -1°, but it's actually set to 40°. And the actual temperature reflects the 40° setting.
