SmartHQ lets you manage and control a variety of smart appliances from GE Appliances, GE Profile, Café, Monogram, Fisher & Paykel, and Haier to give you total control of your headquarters, your home.

Replaces Café Appliances app, Monogram app, and GE Laundry app.

Works inconsistently. Try to add a new appliance & it hangs up at different stages. Times out early or implies you entered a network password incorrectly/tried to connect to the wrong network. App sometimes overrides user input & continues whatever failing path it's on unless you force stop. Additionally, offers to update in the middle of a wash cycle which would stop the machine—it should be smart enough to wait.

Edit much later lowering a star: I'm sorry, but a timer either works as a timer or it doesn't, and the combination app/stove does not on either my or my wife's phones. The notifications from the stove timer will come in anywhere from a few seconds to a few hours after the end of the timer. Still have the app installed, mostly for my washing machine as getting a "wash is finished" notification an hour after the wash is finished hasn't (yet) ruined dinner.

I was excited at the thought of knowing what was going on with my washer and dryer through this app.....until I started getting random notifications about a load that is almost finished when nobody is home and nobody is using the washing machine. I got another random notification that I was low on detergent. I go in the app and it tells me the level is good. It could be a great app if the bugs are worked out.
