This thing sucks, DO NOT GET IT. Unreliable and frustrating—do not buy. This device works intermittently at best, and always seems to fail right when you need it most. Even when it manages to connect, there is a major audio bug: no sound comes through on either incoming or outgoing calls. Save your money and look elsewhere.

The app is very minimalist, but I don't necessarily mind that. I just need to text or talk to my kids when needed and most importantly, check their location. Everything was working well up until about a month ago. Now it always loses their location. They can be playing outside the house and their location can't be found. They can text me back and forth just fine, but the app constantly attempts to find their location with no success, even outside a building in the open. What's going on?

Hi, Todd. We're sorry to hear about this, and we appreciate your feedback. To fix this, please restart the devices, ensure the Google Health app on the kids' devices has 'Always Allow' location permissions, and verify all apps are updated to the latest version. Device and app are great, but once the watch died, I can't find it anymore, not even see the last location the device was at. So, if I can't find the watch, I will be cancelling this and getting a Samsung watch instead as it handles location a lot better. Also, reception is not great in my area. so very often I would try to call the watch and it would not go through.

Hi, there. We're sorry to hear this. When you request your child’s location from the Fitbit Ace app, it loads and displays the location of your child’s Fitbit Ace LTE when the device was last located.
