Ratings and reviews

The apps has been mostly fun until just recently. I'm assuming I must have just got the version released on 06/04/24. My audio navigation is completely broken now. I get no sound at all from Maps. I can only get audio by completely disabling my bluetooth connection, even if it's set to not use bluetooth for directions. I joined the beta program and the newer beta fixes the issue, so it's definitely an issue with the app. On a Galaxy S10.

Overall, Google maps works very well. The traffic data is often very helpful for planning alternate routes. The addition of the ability to report things like accidents or hazards in the road is also very helpful. However, I recently discovered that there is no way to report an actual road closure. Not only that, but your algorithms are apparently incapable of recognizing the fact that every single vehicle using your app was being routed off of the route provided.

Too many issues to list, but I'll try my best. Some addresses do not show up when you type them in, but if you zoom into the map you can clearly see the addess. Adding multiple stops does not work, when it's time for the next stop and you press continue, the app will not continue the route, so you have to close the app and start over, which defeats the purpose of adding multiple stops on one route. Constantly setting routes that are much longer than other options. Seriously, do better Google.
