honestly sometimes this app really sucks. more often than not lately, I'll be in the middle of texting a lot with my husband and it'll just stop sending texts. to him and to anyone else. and stop receiving as well. I've tried force stop, I've tried restarting the phone, sending as text.. I've tried just leaving it alone and it takes like an hour to get back to normal. it's super frustrating honestly. this is still a cell phone at the end of the day. it should be able to text with no issues.

Google has updated the image attachment UI to be a buggy, unreliable, slower, and generally harder to use system of menus and swiping that has been infuriating me every day. I have to force close messages and re-open to attach images about 1/5 tries now. It's just embarassing. The UX people should be fired and replaced by chatbots of higher competency. Updating my review from 2 -> 1. After a reinstall and a month, the image attachment gallery still bounces in the middle of the screen. Shameful.

RCS messaging not working whatsoever. anytime I message anyone. the thread says RCS but won't send and keeps saying will send once contact is online. for everyone. then I send it through text and it switches back and forth from text to rcs. I've updated the app. uninstalled the update and reinstalled. turned RCS off and on multiple times. unregistered my number from RCS on Google's site and registered again. doesn't work on wifi or mobile network. this needs to be resolved
