It is a good app. It does give me my email, but......... it keeps constantly giving me the same email that I have deleted. I would delete it from my inbox just to have it show up again in my inbox 10 seconds later. This is a reoccurring thing that happens almost every time I check my email. It is not a deal breaker seeing as it does give me all of my email, but I do find that quite obnoxious.
All of a sudden, I can't do anything anymore. Whenever I check my emails, it shows nothing in my inbox. I can't write and semd emails, nor do I know if I have any emails coming my way. Tried force closing amd restaring the app, but didn't do any good. Not really sure what to do. Also, why isn't there an option to 'select all mail' when deleting? Would make it THAT much easier to clean it out. 👍
What's ironic is that the iPad and iPhone versions of this app have an "unread" mail folder. The Android version does not. So while iOS users enjoy a user experience, similar to that of the web app, with reading their email, Android users do not. This seems like a simple feature to add. Nocked it down another star for not adding the same functionality enjoyed by iOS users now for three years since my review.
I always have to delete my emails at least twice for them to actually get removed. Otherwise the app works great, but continually deleting emails is the reason for the low rating. Update: the problem is getting worst. I used to be able to just head onto a computer to delete my emails and they'd be out of Gmail when it synced, but even now after that the deleted emails are still there!!! Very frustrating and I'll be looking for a new email app.
Certainly not the greatest by far. I just had to drink the kool-aid like everyone else. Anyway, what is today's update talking about? "Save time with Smart Reply: Tap one of the three options to start your response - hit send when done". What?
All of a sudden I'm unable to send attachments using my main Gmail account (I can with the secondary one). The only workaround I've found is downloading Inbox by Gmail—but I want a solution to this problem, not a workaround, and Google has no customer support contact. Please fix!
