Finally stopped crashing constantly! I was finally able to access device administrators on my Nexus 5 and disable Gmail as an administrator. This allowed me to restore Gmail to its factory version and then reinstall the latest update... And now after 3 months of endless crashes (even when using other apps), Gmail is working again thank the lord
Google strong arming us into using their services!!! Version 5.0 doesn't sync folders properly and doesn't have "select all" button! And I'm really pissed off by you only allowing push in Gmail accounts only! Google you did the same thing in your Google calendar app by only allowing 30 minute default appointments for your Gmail accounts only! Way to strong arm people into using your services! Let us choose which accounts we want to use! SMH
Constant pop up asking to enable body sensor. A msg being displayed once is ok. But this pop is displayed every 2secs which is disgusting. I don't want to select that option even if asked every 2 secs!
How do I stop the pop up every time I open the app that says it needs access to every permission or it won't work? It works just fine without access to my calendar, contacts, microphone, SMS, body sensors, etc. And why does an email app need access to 'body sensors'?
On any Android version 7, this app breaks if you have more than 4 accounts. I did not have this issue before 7 on my other phones. Otherwise I wish it would get away from conversation view on Gmail accounts
Since the app works perfectly well (emails, attatchments and all) with some permissions restricted, I find the pop-up notification to allow access to them, that shows up every other minute or so, incredibly annoying! And no, I WILL NOT grant unnecessary perimissions to Google just for your pleasure. So, kindly remove that annoying pop-up, or at the very least, add a "understand, don't show again" option to it. It's Google at its worst.
