Update D: The update screwed everything up! Why can't I have tabs to switch back and forth to????
Completely useles in Portugal, a 10M country with the 4th most speaked language in the world (Brazilian is not true Portuguese!!) This app sould be able to make phone call, start navigatios, open apps but everything i try to do, it just makes a internet search and stops... Plz fix this or make it work with portuguese (the real one). I have to change my sistem language to English and speak everything in English in order for this to work. I thought google cared about all consumers.
Fantastical. (LG Nexus 4) When this was first announced as Google now on Android 4.1 I was a bit concerned that speaking to my phone was going to be horribly inaccurate and not really useful in my daily life, thanks for proving me wrong Google. Not only do I really enjoy seeing my cards and getting notifications on things I should be notified at the time I should be notified but it is just fun to use. Voice is spot on when I dictate like a human speaking English ought to especially if you enable personalized recognition.
Needs more UPDATE: Getting better, but I'm still waiting for the amazing, intuitive, and "cool" stuff! Come on, Google... we expect more! If I was ok with boring and unimpressive software, I'd have Apple. ORIGINAL POST: It seems that Google isn't sure about this "Google Now" idea cause they haven't done much with it. I love it, but it needs much more!
Maps are TERRIBLE! Google has always worked fine for me. Any other time I would give this app a 5. The last two updates really screwed up the maps. Beginning with the previous update, the map would float around the screen. When using Google for a GPS, Google became confused. It would tell me to turn right, then left, then right, then left like it was having a seizure. That became worse with the latest update. The last two updates need to be rolled back. Why fix what's not broken?
"Ok Google" keyword from any screen doesn't work ony more ;(
We've updated Google. Look for our new app icon.
