Useless because there's no way to select an alternate key phrase other than "hey google". I have to keep it turned off because every time I say to my dog "hey good girl" it invokes this app on my phone. I've retrained the voice model repeatedly and it doesn't do any better. It's also a liability in the car because when any of us says the key phrase, all our phones respond. Amazon can do it with Alexa by offering several different choices, so why can't Google do it here?

After this latest update when using the search feature via the microphone the screen flickers as every word you say it is searching until you finish your sentence. Very annoying and distracting. Please fix it. Example. If you say. "What is the weather" it will search WHAT. IS. THE. WEATHER. when you finish the sentence it gives desired results but I don't need to see a result for every single word I say. Before up. You speak what you want. It searches and bam. Instant.

I have actually been having issues with the song function that Google listens to what you're listening to. It ended up not working as of 2 years ago but I didn't have a problem with that. Just mentioning it. The real problem is as of today, September 15th, Google has officially stopped working and keeps stopping. I have forced stopped the app, nothing. Restarted my phone, nothing. Checked everything else, nothing else is affected. Maybe some help? Updates? Using something else until then...
