Online access and identity verification (including Social Security, TIN or select US ID type or Foreign ID types) is required for card activation and to open an account. Mobile number or email address verification and mobile app are required to access all features.
1. Monthly fee waived whenever you receive payroll or government benefits direct deposits of $500 or more in the previous monthly statement period. Otherwise, $5 per month.
2.There are no pay per use fees on purchase transactions when you use your Xpectations! Plus Debit Card.
3. Up to $300 overdraft protection with opt-in and eligible direct deposits. Fees, terms, and conditions apply.
4. Early direct deposit availability depends on payor type, timing, payment instructions, and bank fraud prevention measures. As such, early direct deposit availability may vary from pay period to pay period. The name, Social Security, TIN or select US ID type or Foreign ID type number on fi¬le with your employer or benefits provider must match your Xpectations! Plus Debit Card account to prevent fraud restrictions on the account.
5. See app or website for free ATM locations. $3 for out-of-network withdrawals, plus any additional fees the ATM owner or bank may charge. Limits apply.
6. Customer can transfer their funds from another debit card or bank account to their Xpectations! Plus Debit Card account in minutes for a small fee. Limits apply to bank transfers and are subject to your bank’s restrictions and fees. Bank account verification services provided by Plaid. Activated, personalized debit card required to make a bank transfer. See Deposit Account Agreement for terms and conditions.
7. Previously authorized transactions and deposits/transfers to your account will function with a locked card.

9. There is no charge for cash reloads at PLS Check Cashers locations. Individual retailers other than PLS Check Cashers locations may charge a fee.

Ratings and reviews

At some places I couldn't access my account to unlock my card. I was at knotts berry farm when this occurred. Also what's up with only being able to pull out 400 dollars per single day, that's not even enough to make a money order for my rent. I have to wait until the next day just to have enough money to make the money order. This xpectations account is bogus and I will be changing my direct deposits back to chime or cashapp.

Xpecatations is convenient and beneficial, I was approved to for $250 in overdraft protection. However, it can allow up to $300. This is only an option if you have direct deposit with them. Also, you have to opt in and agree to their terms and services. I recommend you to please read carefully before officially accepting the conditions of the contract. To ensure that you understand the over draft protection policy and procedures. Also their requirements to receive the overgdraft protection. 😇🙏

I received 2 of these cards in the mail at the same time, I thought these were cards that I had ordered. I went to the online site to activate said card (Only activated 1) Entered my name, social, and created a username, and password....then it asked for a verification code, and here its sending it to a whole different email address and phone number (Ones that they have on file).....so basically it was to lure me in to get my social security number. I cant login to the account I created. SCAM!
