Ratings and reviews

I use many different graphic apps, some have capabilities that others don't so I will choose different ones accordingly. I'll often edit images in one app, save it or send it to another one, & again to another for it's particular strengths. Snapseed is one I choose often. There's a good selection of ready made editing tools plus a greater set of more sophisticated tweaking tools. The app does what it does quite well & once you get the hang of it, the process becomes intuitive and easy.

As a real estate photographer, I really appreciate the many features of this app, including but not limited to the perspective tool for straightening out the crooked lines in home photos. I like that you can directly export from Google Photos into Snapseed, and then it will import the photo right back to Google Photos when you are through with your edits. They also appear to have added some sort of a generative fill when cropping photos, which is really nice.

Used to be great, but since they changed the file picking system, it's become really annoying to use. Before I could choose images from different apps and accounts with relative ease. That's gone now and if it isn't on my phone or main google photos account, i have to go download it first. Sure, I could go the the image first and open it in Snapseed, but then I lose file saving controls.
