The app works fine but when Bluetooth is on then my Galaxy S23Ultra no longer makes any sound when typing or haptic feedback, etc. Turn Bluetooth off and the sound for everything works again. Why? ---- Update: I followed the publisher's solution and there is no resolution. The app still kills all sound from my Galaxy S23Ultra. At this point I will probably return the Starkey hearing aids and get ones that don't have the same problems like Phonak.

Try unpairing the hearing aids from the phone and pair it anew using the app.

Whenever I'm in a video call on Facebook messenger, I am unable to hear the caller via Bluetooth. Or no sound at all. But if you play like other apps like YouTube, I can hear the audio just fine. Hearing does not pick up audio calls from Facebook. No fix... I do not like these hearing aids.

Please work with the Developers of Facebook messenger. We have found that toggling off Bluetooth and back on while using messenger can fix it. You might need to get the messenger settings.

Update: they have commented on how it's the phone's Bluetooth. It's odd that the countless amount of Bluetooth devices have no issue maintaining a stable connection. I wear a pair of Bluetooth headphones when I walk outside because the hearing aids can't handle being in my pocket. I didn't understand how bad this app is. Will randomly lose connection to phone. Bluetooth is so unreliable. These cost so much money and the app makes them so much worse.

I'm sorry for the experience. The app depends on the Bluetooth of the phone to maintain the connect to the hearing aids. If the phone is unable to keep the connection the app will not find the hearing aid(s). If you are able to reconnect to the hearing aids but toggling Bluetooth, or Airplane mode, I would say investigate the phone's Bluetooth.
