Love the service, drivers are usually great. But this app is a disaster. From the minute I upgraded it to this latest build I knew it was off. UX is out the window, apparently to prioritize whatever it is Uber is trying to do with us - forced location settings, tracking post ride, whatever we will find out soon enough. It is extremely frustratong to navigate within this app. From a big cutting edge company like this, this design is inexcusable.
I loved Uber for years. But in the last 3 months their app has been malfunctioning, they raised their prices and it takes hours and some times days to get a response from customer service. A conversation can honestly take weeks. I'm sad I'm done with Uber. We had some good years, but this customer service is that bad!
App is great. But service not valid for money. Share is very expensive. Its competitor has pass and share for 80 rs and same share in uber goes to 150. That's insane double. I have seen no difference in quality of both. So price does matter. Please introduce a pass which gives discounted rides for regular commuters like me
The driver always has a problem finding my exact location because the map shows him a dead end at one point when it isn't and he often gets confused and cancels the ride which is why I have to pay the 50 rs fine. It is very annoying and I face the problem almost everytime I book the damn cab. Please fix the map!!
App is good.. but the service provided by the driver is unprofessional.. i have been fooled thrice.. i could not reach out for my first problem because there are only fixed option of complaints where my category was not even mentioned.. And from the second and third problem caused by the single trip only one was being solved. I wish professionalism can be maintained.
Tried making a scheduled ride for my sister-in-law later today, added my debit card but payment was invalid. So I tried it again with Paypal (my card & bank account is on file with PP) got a $1 hold but payment was still invalid. So I tried a Chase visa card and payment was still invalid. So frustrating! So I just booked her ride with Lyft. Unlike uber, they wanted my business and allowed my debit card so Uber just lost a returning customer.
