So here's the issue. It works fine when in the process of making calls. After leaving a call, my microphone will no longer be usable, period. Not for Google assistant, nor for calls or anything. My microphone is completely disabled. I even tried changing settings in my phone, or force closing this app, it did not work. I have to restart my device to get my microphone to work again. I have a bad memory, so I may forget, and then when I make or receive an important call, nobody can hear me.

I've just installed this on a new phone as a backup. I use a similar application on a VA loaned iPad. Today, 31 March 2026 I received an email from the VA which included a report that this Android app has an update 2.13.5 but I see no way in the details with the Google Play Store. Otherwise, the app from the VA on the iPad is very smooth and easy to use.

Works well when it works. If the patient needs to look at another screen during the appointment, such as to review notes or a calendar the video feed stops showing the patient to the doctor. This is not a recent issue
