I'm getting a Can't retrieve file information error whenever I open the app. Everything seems to work but the I keep getting the error anyway. I tried clearing the internal cache, the app cache and data, and reinstalling. Nothing has worked. My Internet connection is perfectly fine also. Id love to know if this is a bug so that I can stop trying to troubleshoot and just wait for the next app update.

Drive has been a free reliable place to store my files and documents, have used it for years. I use it in conjunction with Google Docs to create and store text files. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I prefer Docs and Drive to other Play products for writing and storage. MSWord is more fussy. UPDATE: Found out my Google Play update setting was set to Auto. Usually I keep it set to off so I can decide what to update and when. Was getting updates to the newest version of Drive and Docs.

The app always loads with "Can't retrieve file information. Check your network connection." like it's a normal part of the app. I usually have to back out and open it again so I can see the bottom pane and continue doing what I was doing. Internet connection is fine every time it displays that message. Very annoying and completely meaningless. Otherwise, Drive is an essential part of my productivity lifestyle.
