I highly dislike the effort to turn this into a social media app. I use it for navigation!! Also, it is refusing to remove starred locations causing my map to become cluttered. Additionally, the navigation algorythm is getting less reliable. It frequently tells me to make a hard turn on merges and slight turn for a full 90 degree turn. I'm not an Apple fan, but their maps app is far better.

The app itself is good, but whenever there are updates it switches the settings on the route to "prefer fuel efficiency". If I want to use that option, I will select it. I do not need a company dictating to me how I need to drive. We are not a commie country, so I don't need your platform to preach to me on the "climate". Please fix this issue, so thay user settings stay as the USER wants them! Thank you

Overall this app is my favorite navigating app. It occasionally has bugs esp with updates but most of the time, works really well. I'm having an issue in the last few months tho with my husband's phone. We share our Google accounts with each other and locations and normally can see each other's locations. But recently some setting changed and now we see the other person's location wherever WE are. So it's some error in settings but I have searched and searched and can't find the solution.
