Reply to dev: *Forum discussion locked with no solutions or acknowledgement of bug. 8 months and counting.* Update broke metro trip persistence since May '24. Used to let me explore the map while a trip is active. Now, it silently kills the trip with no way to resume the trip. It's a worse app now for city use without this ability. It's useless for walking or public transit guidance in new areas. The only way to restore the behavaior is to uninstalling all updates. This is ridiculous!

I like that I can save places and label them. Map works great for my drives. Recently, I saw I could enter traffic issues (stalled cars, construction, speed traps) while driving via Android Auto, but I got in the car this afternoon, and the feature was gone. I'm super disappointed in that. I was able to mark when a big object was in the middle of I5. Bring it back, please.

Great when it works, but there are lots of BUGS they never fix, causing huge issues. I guess they are too big to care about software quality anymore. For example, if an exit has multiple freeways you can get on, Maps picks one (i.e. exit US-23 South), but only at the last moment it tells you which of the 3 it wants you to take! And by then it may be too late to change lanes safely. Duh! Time estimates have become awful and unreliable. Real-time info on slowdowns is no longer reliable, etc
