Pro tips:
• Gesture cursor control: Slide your finger across the space bar to move the cursor
• Gesture delete: Slide left from the delete key to quickly delete multiple words
• Make the number row always available (enable in Settings → Preferences → Number Row)
• Symbols hints: Show quick hints on your keys to access symbols with a long press (enable in Settings → Preferences → Long press for symbols)
• One handed mode: On large screen phones, pin keyboard to the left or the right of the screen
• Themes: Choose your own theme, with or without key borders

Ratings and reviews

Pretty good keyboard. While it is enjoyable, it is not without flaw. The swipe seems to put different words than intended if it's not a commonly used word you are trying to spell and, if the letters used for the word is close in proximity the I've noticed it seemed to have trouble with that as well (regardless of proven accuracy in the swipe). I will say the predictive text is the best I've seen yet. While not an overall amazing keyboard, it gets the job done and it has an undeniable pro. 4/5

Keyboard works okay, but I am amazed they still haven't fixed one of the most infuriating aspects which is that the word proposal layout changes with each new letter. Once a word is being shown, it should stay in the same place, with replacement words taking up space previously used by words removed from the proposed list. I long ago lost count how many times I wind up with the wrong word because keyboard moved the word I wanted just before I was able to press it! Argh!!!!

G board is my favorite, because no matter what device I have I can always count on everything being in the same place. I don't have to find the correct punctuation. It doesn't move. I can choose to have emojis and numbers visable. Auto corrects and everything other apps offer. I'm lost without it! Can't wait to try the new features. 4 stars because everything has room for improvement. Great job Google!
