While it is a good cloud storage service it lacks some basic functions. Recently I had a problem where it started duplicating photos and videos I uploaded only once, but also failed to upload others. That's fine, I just deleted the duplicates. But when trying to check for which photos were missing I realized there is no way to sort the file by actual date, but the date of upload/modification and there is no way to change that.

Hi! I'm a fervient advocate of G.Drive over any other word processors, but I have to acknowledge that it is sometimes really hard to find the right folder or the right document, especially when you use it over the years. The fact that docs in a folder are ONLY arranged alphabetically doesn't help. We should have other variables, like date or importance. Apart from that, I think it would be helpful to have a "pin it" button for most important files in a folder. So there, have fun!

I shouldn't have updated drive. It's small nitpicks because I love this app, but transparent images now have the white/grey checkerboard that I don't want to see. Also I'm pretty sure the thumbnails are much shorter than usual. There could be some trimming to make more of the image come through. Was hoping that updating would fix an issue with a gif not loading on mobile, but some gifs just don't work on mobile.
