Bolt features that require the app to stay running in the foreground:

Mostly amazing but recently the app seems to have changed. One has to take quite a few extra steps to ensure pick up location is correct and then if travelling to Coventry train station, it forces the drivers to a square, where they are not allowed to go to and is just for black taxis. A blue hatch on the app is restricting the area and forcefully defaults to this wrong location. Local drivers know where to go but it is causing issues for everyone. Make booking more straightforward please.

The app advertises services it cannot provide. It gives the option to "schedule" a trip for a certain time and date, despite not actually having scheduled anything with a driver. The app confirms the trip and charges you BEFORE they have actually sorted the trip on their end. They also have the audacity to threaten you with an £11 cancellation fee if you cancel less than hour before your pick up time. Except they have no issues with cancelling on you at a moments notice.

It's cheaper than grab, by almost half, so it's great price wise. An issue I'm having is that my bank doesn't trust the payment system so I have to verify EVERY payment through my banking app, and by the time I do, the time for a ride has gone up. Also, the pick-up points have often been on roads where the driver can not go, which has been very annoying. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating.
