App crashes in the background. To conserve battery power, I frequently get notifications to put the app in "deep sleep" from my device health monitor. Otherwise, I find it very helpful to be able to control and view the cameras remotely. I have healthcare workers who come and go throughout the week with my son, so it's comforting that I can check on him at any time when my husband and I are away from home for errands and such.

"Kasa app keeps stopping" Getting this error message several times a day and I'm honestly pretty close to uninstalling permanently. Many of the devices seem to be hit or miss as to whether or not they function as desired. The widget usually gives an error each time I try to activate a scene, then often works immediately afterwards. It all just seems buggy and has not been a smooth experience. Using a new Galaxy S25

lights stopped working a few months after getting them. I did factory restart and followed all the guidelines they told me. No matter what I do, the lights won't connect to the app or my wifi. I even called my internet provider to reset the router, and they still won't work. biggest waste of money, and the app isn't even that great. I found it difficult to group the lights to work correctly with Alexa, and the color scheme isn't the best. Overall, very displeased with this product.
