They removed the touch and hold feature. I liked that feature, there's only a handful of touch functions on the buds and they just remove one outright without making disabling it an option. Sure, I get trying to push Gemini use metrics up to collect more data but why punish all the people that don't have the Pro2s in the process? Maybe I don't want to have to speak out loud just so I can get the time without pulling my phone out or wearing a watch, have you considered that?

There's no notification chime on the pixel buds. I don't want my notifications to be read to me when I get them I just want to know if I got one. YouTube videos also have an audio lag. The touch surface doesn't always work properly, sometimes takes a few taps to answer the phone. Edit to add: pixel buds stopped responding to taps and touch commands. I factory reset this morning and they started working again but they've just stopped again.

Hi Scott, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're not receiving sound notifications on your Pixel Buds, and notifications are read out as fast as they arrive. This may depend on how you've set up your Pixel Buds. Here are some recommended steps you can try: https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/answer/7685360

I used to really enjoy my pixel buds and the convenient notifications. Now they've removed the touch and hold to tell the time and read notifications feature and that is extremely disappointing. Shame on Google for removing a feature that originally came with the product. Please bring this feature back. At the very least give us a toggle option to turn on or off the press and release to read notifications in the settings.
