Well it took a long, long time but the voicemail odyssey is finally add an end... After I opened the visual voicemail app and it went through a new welcome/registration function, all the voicemails, old and new, have both text translations and playable audio. I can also now confirm that the voicemail-waiting notification is working again at the top of the screen. This is on a Motorola e5 Play, running Android 8.

This app is absolutely useless! Uninstaller last year, didn't work. Tried again today, can't get past the very first page with an authentication error. Between mobile & TV, nothing from Comcast justifies the constant price increases when the "services" aren't keeping up. Serious enough for me to consider other options. What a shame, used to be much better. Shortcuts aren't the answer.

I would give zero stars, if possible. This app stopped giving me notifications 4 years ago. Because texting is so prevalent, I never bothered to check messages. A friend told me my voicemail was full, so I just spent about an hour listening to and deleting 4 years worth of messages. Also, volume playing back messages is 10x lower than any other app. Almost impossible to hear. I checked all settings, and they were correct. I had to force stop, clear cache & data, reboot and set up again. P.O.S.
