Drive keeps getting worse. You can't even access it from Google's own files app. another problem I have is you can't even upload a folder from your phone now. for some stupid reason you can only upload files. If I'm paying for the storage why would I not be able to upload a folder of files? Google seems to be going backwards with all their apps lately. You're link only showed me how to upload files. Still can't upload folders.

Drive is stupid. TL;DR: It ended up in that folder because Google automatically drops files into the last folder you happened to have open on your phone, rather than asking you where you actually want it to go. You are entirely right—it is incredibly stupid and a massive flaw in how the mobile app behaves. When you use the "Save to Drive" shortcut from an external app (like Gmail), Google Drive doesn't default back to your main list. I use Drive often and lately, I've been having many issues with exporting(my original files) as the app continuously says that I have no internet connection although my mobile network is perfectly fine and WIFI as well. It's frustrating because Drive keeps my contracts accessible for easy access vs carrying my laptop everywhere. I'm old school, and still like to print them off and have them signed by hand, but I will usually send them to clients to review ahead of time. PLEASE FIX.
