For years this app stops working for a couple of hours a day. Everyday at about the same time. Every now and then, the "scheduled stop" time changes to another fixed time and stay there for a while. For the last three months, it either worked without interruption, or the daily blackout was scheduled to a time when I was sleeping. Either way, now it's back to not working. 0 stars for lack of reliability, and 0 stars for such an important issue going unsolved for years, literally. Google is bad.

Google Maps is indispensable but the new color scheme is horrible, I mean really horrible, I have tried to put up with it but it makes me want to puke, please either revert to the previous color scheme, or give us a choice.. I mean who was complaining about the previous color scheme, probably no one, but along came someone who thought to themselves 'I'm a really important person and you know what Google maps ain't broke but what the heck I'm going to fix it anyway'. Color Bind comes to mind!

Directions are generally good for driving, not always the safest routes for walking but that's fairly standard for maps apps. Cycle routes tell you how hilly they are which is a nice feature. The recent update has made the map almost unusable when driving. The roads used to be yellow, with the route you needed to go blue. Now the road is a blue grey, there's no contrast. You can no longer tell quickly which way you need to go, so you're looking at the map for longer instead of the road.
