Every. Single. Time. Without fail. When I have to look something up, I have to close completely out of the app once or twice and search again just to get to see it. For 3 years. Insane that a huge, ridiculously rich company which has taken human privacy away can't create an effective map app. Cant turn off labels in mobile. If I do try to they come right back. I don't want to go on the computer just to see a regular map when I should be able to do it here.

Google Maps is hands down one of the best apps for gps and navigation. There's room for improvement (as always). The app itself should be able to provide other transportation means that are available for certain locations, take into account ferries, among other possibilities. I know it would be difficult to integrate with those modalities of transportation, but it would not be bad to provide them...

Without a doubt one of Google's best products, and it is wildly useful if you don't know exactly where you want to go or know how to get there. As a pure navigation or road trip app, there are many missing settings and problematic behaviors. This app will NOT allow you to plan a specific route and leave it alone as it will constantly try to reroute you. Try to plan a route using multiple waypoints and it gives your ETA only to next waypoint. Plan a scenic route through the mountains? Ha! Nope.
