Let's leave intelligence where it belongs, in human brains and not computers. Keep them just dumb enough to still do the job - sounds like common sense to me! I cannot open my feed without seeing AI stories. Not much choice so no, I am not free to use my phone however I want.

Unfortunately, I can't use Google's newest AI upgrades on my Pixel 9 Pro XL with 256GB. The minimum requirements are for the Pixel 10 and above models only. I also have a Pixel 10 Pro XL (512GB) that I bought in November 2025. I haven't seen the Magic Cue function yet (I am well beyond 18+ years old and my actual DOB is in my associated Google account.) Even before Google's May/June phone AI options, it takes over 5 minutes to process! It feels like a lot of time wasted compared to just doing
