About this app

Android Switch is already installed on your Android device so you can securely copy photos, videos, contacts, and more from another phone or tablet during setup.

Plus, if you have a Pixel 9 or newer (including the Pro, Pro Fold, and A-Series), you can use Android Switch to move your data anytime after setup, even if you don't have your other device.

initial data transfer when setting up a new phone was interrupted because the phone died. Date was about 50% transfered (after nearly half an hour). Now the only way to complete the process is to factory reset the phone again. There really should be another option and it's ridiculous that there isn't. For that reason I'm only giving 2 stars. Please, fix this(!)

0mg! I have had literally every issue mentioned on here. Decided to research each app already on my phone. This is exactly what I'm going through. It's a nightmare! I've wasted countless hours trying to figure this out and fix the problem! I felt like Google had something to do with it. But I've mostly felt crazy until now. Why isn't Google doing something about this. I love my phone but I don't ever want to go through this again. Thank you everyone for commenting!!!

Thanks to this stupid thing, whenever I have updates for my apps, the alert will always tell me I have for instance, "2 new updates, 3 updates total." The extra one is this app, which for whatever reason requires manual updates and can't be deleted.
