I never had an issue until meet moved to its new call style. I used meet for a normal video call between two people it was perfect for that. Now the push for the "corporate" meeting style video call has dropped the call quality significantly. The UI is very cluttered, video is not clear, especially if there is low light. The audio has become choppy. I wish this app could go back to "legacy" calling. My phone no longer receives meet calls either. Look for a different video calling app.

Ever since I updated the app, I can't connect calls. I try calling you friend, and it says, every time, 'couldn't connect you to call.' Neither does it let me create links. It isn't even a useful app anymore if I can't call anyone, which is what it's supposed to do. Please fix this Google Meet. Everything was fine until the update.

Moving from duo to meet has made for a bug ridden experience. I call my daughter every night for a video call. I used to be able to share the audio for an app that would play accompaniment music for us to sing together. Since legacy calling ended completely, I'm no longer able to get any music app to play music while I'm sharing it in the call. The particular app I use is sacred music, but Spotify, Amazon music, Pandora, YouTube music, none of them play anymore.
