Ratings and reviews

Sometimes it just showes black screen with music of the video. Even opening the video again doesn't help. Also sometimes it doesn't show the app, but everything get's stuck and you have all the Add title and buttons open. But shorts is the worse. It sometimes switches between shorts, so that you can't go back to a certain video you watched. Also the title and buttons never belong to the videos, so coments and likes don't end up at the right video. You also have ad banners across regular videos.

Duration of ads aren't influenced by the video length. I'm not watching a 20 second ad to watch a 12 second video. Proud Ad-Block user :D Ads going crazy... besides that, the "refresh page" gesture is way too sensitive. I'm thinking of watching the video at the top of my homefeed but am not entirely sure yet, so I scroll down a bit and come back later. Then I scroll to the top and accidentally refresh and its gone.

Switched to YouTube Revanced! I removed the distracting Shorts. Set a default quality for videos and brought back the old quality menu. Disabled Breaking News. Brought back dislike count. Use a ton of other features the app offers, and of course, no ads whatsoever. YouTube, congratulations, you left me with so few customization options that I had to do this to you. I hope you stop your self-sabotage sooner rather than later. Will consider returning when you do. Best of luck.
