You need an account, email address and password before you can access the app which is a tedious nuisance. Switched BassUp off. Default equalizer perfect. Excellent sound in pop music and classical without any further adjustment. Maybe might play with Eq in future. Superb speaker and app combo bar the pointless sign in nonsense.

Can't see battery level in app. What's the point of the app then? My Mac tells me more information than the app does and that's ridiculous. The only point of this app is apparently to change the equaliser. Which you can do with the playback software you are using anyway. Also if you have two Bluetooth speakers in your room (eg for TV/computer streaming and for music like Spotify) these speakers will annoy the hell out of you for taking over each other at the wrong moment.

I was enjoying this app until very recently. Now I keep getting pop up ads about work speakerphones that you can't dismiss and disable the rest of the screen. Going back won't work have to close and reopen and still it comes back. Whoever is in charge of your app program development should be sacked and replaced with a baked potato for all the good they've done with this.
