Edit: downgrading to 1 star because the app continues to show ads that block you from using it for several seconds. This is completely unacceptable. It's a fine enough app that works for toggling the noise cancellation and changing what the controls do. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 because it has started showing popup ads for other Soundcore products about once a month for a couple of days in a row, blocking access to the app for several seconds. This is unacceptable.

Case study in how to destroy a brand. What was once a killer app for killer products has fallen so far. This app is a big reminder of why not to have automatic updates turned on. It's really sad. The lack of any response from the brand to the overwhelming level of dissatisfaction is also telling. They simply don't care. A brand I can no longer support or recommend. I'll be shocked if there's any substantive response beyond the typical "sorry..."

l find the actual earbuds are great sounding. The issue I have is the unreliable Bluetooth connectivity. It's a crapshoot. Every time I have them in use and want to use them on the app or anywhere else, I have stop doing what I'm doing and fetch the base. I have to take them out and put them in the base. It can take several attempts to connect them. Makes me want to go back to wired. It's a hassle.
