this feature works perfectly! thank you Verizon! Update: a year after using the app, it didn't seem to catch as many scam calls as it used to. So I tried the paid app for 3.99 a month. It's better but there is an annoying quirk. Call that have been blocked don't get thru but I get a notification with sound on top of whatever I'm doing. Why??? If I've blocked the number, why would I care if they keep calling ? As far as I'm concerned, I don't even want them sent to voice-mail. 3/23. No good.

This app is awful. I receive at least 15 spam calls per day, and this app is set to block all potential spam levels. The worst part: it also incorrectly labels legitimate calls as spam. I missed out on a job interview because of that. Thanks Verizon! I even changed my phone number, and that seems to have made it worse. My phone number is on the do not call registry. I've done all I can do, but the spam just doesn't end. Fix your app, Verizon.

It almost works well. It identifies spam well, but it still rings and notifies you and asks if its spam and do you want to block it and it goes on and on. It won't let you merely identify a number as "spam" as it also requires you to block the number. The catch is that you can only block 10 numbers max. Please just FILTER spam, it's in the app name. Don't notify me, don't ask me, and don't limit me. Surely don't make spam calls ring. Do one thing and actually do it right.
