Pretty bad user experience overall. Since it's an app, not a website, I can't use ad blockers, so 90% of the sites shown are basically unreadable, covered in ads and videos and popups. And even though I constantly block sources and curate interests, I regularly get stuff I don't care about at all in my feed, like sports. There are always articles from 3-4 days ago shown, when I want to see the most recent headlines. They added an AI "Listen" button to read the news to you that you can't remove.

This app has gotten more frustrating to use. First, they don't offer any kind of protection against aggressive ads. It's extremely common for the entire page to be covered with ads, forcing me to open the article in a different browser, just to read it. And the app keeps only half loading pages. I'll be half way through reading an article, when the words stop and it's just a white page. Very disappointing.

Unlike the older version, I could no longer login to my current Washington Post subscription due to bugs, so I couldn't read more than a few stories a month in my subscribed newspaper. It also wouldn't remember that I was logged in to my local paper subscription, so I had to login again any time I saw a headline that I wanted to check out. When I contacted customer service (about the first issue, which seemed most pressing), I received no reply. Another annoyance is that the only available widget is the large one. The old version had a smaller widget that didn't include large pictures, and it fit my screen better. It would be nice if they had kept that as an option.
